Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions are drafted in accordance with the Slovenian Consumer Protection Act (ZVPot‑1), the Electronic Commerce Market Act (ZEPT), and applicable EU consumer protection regulations.
The online store Eva Prepeva (hereinafter referred to as the “Online Store”) is operated by Eva Prepeva, unikatna keramika, Milan Ketiš s.p. (hereinafter referred to as the “Provider”).

2. Products and Pricing

Due to the nature of handmade work, each product is a unique piece of art. Minor variations in color, size, texture, or detail compared to photographs shown on the website do not constitute a defect, but are a characteristic of the handcrafted production process.

All prices are listed in Euros (€).

Prices do not include shipping costs, which are calculated and shown during the checkout process.

The Provider reserves the right to change prices without prior notice. Price changes do not affect orders that have already been confirmed.

3. Payment Methods

The Online Store offers the following payment methods:

  • Credit/Debit Cards (Mastercard, Visa) via the WooPayments system
  • Bank Transfer (proforma invoice) to the Provider’s business bank account

An order is considered confirmed once payment is successfully completed or received.

4. Shipping and Delivery

Delivery Time:
For products in stock, delivery within the EU is completed within up to 10 business days, unless otherwise stated. For custom-made products, the estimated delivery time is specified in the product description.

Shipping Costs:
Shipping costs are calculated based on the destination and total weight of the order and are displayed before order confirmation.

Fragile Goods:
Pottery items are fragile and carefully packaged. If you receive a visibly damaged package, please report this immediately to the courier and contact the Provider with photographic evidence.

The risk of loss or damage to the goods passes to the customer upon physical receipt of the goods.

5. Right of Withdrawal (Returns)

The consumer has the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days of receiving the goods, without providing a reason.

To exercise the right of withdrawal, the customer must notify the Provider of their decision by email to eva.prepeva (at) gmail.com within the withdrawal period.

The product must be returned unused, undamaged, and in its original packaging, no later than 14 days after the withdrawal notice. The cost of return shipping is borne by the customer.

Exceptions

The right of withdrawal does not apply to:

  • Custom-made or personalized products made according to the consumer’s specifications
  • Products which are not suitable for return due to hygiene reasons (e.g., earrings), if the original seal or packaging has been removed

6. Workshops and Courses

Reservation:
Participation in a workshop is confirmed only upon receipt of full payment.

Customer Cancellation:
If the participant cancels at least 7 days before the workshop date, a full refund is granted. For later cancellations, refunds are not possible; however, the participant may transfer their booking to another person.

Provider Cancellation:
The Provider reserves the right to cancel a workshop due to illness, force majeure, or insufficient registrations. In such cases, participants will be offered a full refund or an alternative date.

7. Liability for Material Defects

The Provider is liable for material defects in accordance with ZVPot‑1.
The customer must notify the Provider of any defect within the statutory period and enable the inspection of the product.

8. Personal Data Protection (GDPR)

The Provider permanently protects personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Slovenian legislation.

Personal data is used exclusively for:

  • Order processing
  • Billing
  • Delivery
  • Necessary communication with customers

9. Out‑of‑Court Dispute Resolution

In accordance with legal requirements, Eva Prepeva, unikatna keramika, Milan Ketiš s.p. does not recognize any provider of out‑of‑court consumer dispute resolution as competent.

10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of Slovenia.
Any disputes arising from these Terms and Conditions shall fall under the jurisdiction of the competent Slovenian courts.
